The morning sun showers its light,
Piercing through the window to wake me up,
Another blessed day has broken,
It shines the hope I keep within.
I see birds flying across the sky,
Soaring high with their tiny wings,
Making music as they light on the trees,
Singing the joy I keep within.
The wind blows the leaves of the trees,
I could feel its soft, cool breeze,
That seems to whisper to my ears,
The glory of the Creator King.
Though the light in the morning turns into darkness,
And the birds has nowhere to build their nests,
When the soft, cool breeze turns into a storm,
I will be still, for the Lord is with me.
With trust in His love, I will rest,
Confess with my lips, “He knows all the best!”
I will cling hard on His loving Hand,
A weakling, in His strength I shall stand.
He knows every problem that bothers my soul,
He sees the sorrow each teardrop mutters,
He hears the groan my spirit makes,
He is watching over me.
Soon the sky shall hide the sun,
As the earth makes another turn,
No one knows how tomorrow will unfold,
God is my only hope.
