A Riddle

It’s touching what you can’t feel,
It’s rolling down where there’s no wheel,
It’s looking at what you can’t see,
It’s strength over adversity.

It’s listening to what you can’t hear,
When you think it’s far, it is near,
Moving a ship when you don’t know how to steer,
It’s power over your greatest fear.

Soaring high when you have no wings,
Feeling nothing even when it stings,
Unceasing wealth in pauper’s dress,
It’s victory over things that oppress.

It’ll let you walk on water,
It makes you care even for a stranger,
Satisfaction even without shelter,
It’s joy over what’s painfully bitter.

Hope makes you strive for greater heights,
Love lets you overcome the fiercest of fights,
But hope you’ll see and love you’ll feel,
Only if faith in Christ in you is real.
