dear Lord,

Here is a poem for You

for always being there

to talk; to listen

and answer every prayer.

For taking me and loving me

despite of all I am

for showing me how much you care

and always understand.

My way of saying “thank you”

for the courage that you give

for the hope I’ve found in You

for the strength that I now have.

Of all the friends I’ve ever had

You are truly the very best
