Expression

Certain things need no words to express…

The human soul is a vast space;

an endless and unexplored depth.

It is where love flourishes and thrives;

yet it’s not strong enough a vessel

when love wants to break free.

The souls dictates what the mind should think;

what the hands should do and what the lips should speak

yet the same soul holds them up in silence

but no matter how hard you wrestle love will show up;

for love has a language of its own.

At times, words are not enough to express them…

Even if I pick up every word I can learn

and arrange them into a fine discourse,

it would not be enough to express precisely

what love wants to say;

for words are just not enough.

Too much words could mean flattery

but few words might lose meaning.

In the end you’ll realize that words are too few;

for what you want to convey

is much too big for words to say.

Love is more than what you can say,

it is even beyond what you can do

but if you are indeed true,

love will come across exactly

how you want it to.

But at certain times, expression is your only consolation…

The human soul is where that the fiercest of battles is fought;

where wounds are deep and takes time to heal.

Yet is where the strongest of bonds forms

which time tests and builds up;

too strong for any tempest to impair.

A saying is true;

“Happiness is not what you have to live on,

but what you have to live for”,

and for as long as the bond stays in place,

happiness will never be elusive.

Happiness does not demand perfection;

as circumstances are not always pleasant.

Not all our dreams will come true

and you can’t make situations turn

toward your favor.

Yet there is happiness if you know

love binds you tightly,

you know your aspirations have a purpose;

no matter how hard you perspire

love is always there to inspire.
