The Ladle and the Pen

Cooking is like writing:
they’re alike in many ways.
It consumes time and requires inspiration
to reveal its true taste.
In your cooking,
consider the people who will eat.
Whatever you’ll prepare,
the ingredients that you’ll use;
would depend on their unique preference.
Any chef in the world has only one goal:
to make sure that his guests
would get full and satisfied.
He would definitely cook
what’s good to the taste and
healthful at the same time.
Although, what’s distasteful
is often the nutritious one.
Perhaps, that’s why kids hate veggies!
Yet, the hungry one is easy to feed.
He doesn’t mind if it’s delicious,
as long as it would relieve his stomach pain.
The substance and content of your writing,
must fill the mind of the readers.
Even if it’s hard-hitting, the intention is clean:
to add knowledge and information to someone’s starving mind.
