From An Old Greeting Card

This poem is from an old Valentine greeting card, which Dad has sent to Mom when he was in the US Marine Education Center in 1972. It is nice that Mom has kept it even a score and a decade after. Imagine, I am only one year old at that time. Now, I am forty.

I have thought of sharing the poem here...

I suppose Someday I’ll need you,
Even more than I do now,
I suppose someday I’ll love you more
But Hon, I don’t see how,
For you’re the very dearest part
Of every dream of mine,
The one who’ll always be my own,
My favorite valentine!
