Row Against the Wind

Sometimes it feels like you’re losing your ground,
Seems like you’re whole world is falling apart,
It’s hard to understand what you’re going through,
Is there a better day to hold on to?

Imagine, you’re in a boat rowing calmly,
Suddenly, you meet a storm in the journey,
Though you don’t know what to do don’t let it frighten you,
Don’t lose your heart; go on and row.

Row, row against the wind,
Stand until the end; it doesn’t matter when
In your darkest day, in Jesus mighty arms stay
Let Him blow the dark clouds away.

Maybe it’s hard to trust what you don’t see,
But God is the One who sees clearly,
When you can’t see what lies ahead,
Let Him ride your boat and trust His call.

Somewhere in the course of life,
The point where the horizon lies,
While resting on God’s mercy,
Watch Jesus calm the restless sea.
